Chaves SWCD will be hosting a partners meeting and CWMA meeting.
The purpose of this meeting will be to make connections with other agencies, acquire new information about herbicide use, obtain CEU’s, get in person Arc GIS and EddMaps training, and work on collaborative efforts to address woody encroachment and noxious weeds.
With the rain we have received in the last year, our Noxious weeds are quickly becoming unmanageable, but through efforts like this and with partners like BLM, NMSLO, Chaves County & Flood, NRCS, NMDOT, PLJV etc., we are hoping to work together for the greater good of our producers, highways, and manage our natural resources to the best of our ability.
Border District has volunteered to sponsor lunch, so please RSVP by 8/13/25 if you plan to join us!
